The Artisan Story
A luminous and joyful sun catcher panel featuring an outstretched butterfly with radiant spectral rainbow wings in ruby red, amber orange, bright yellow, emerald green, and sapphire blue. A slender black glass body with hand-formed wire antennae centers the composition against textured clear ripple glass that dances in the sunlight. Framed in clean lead came and surrounded by rectangular beveled glass border prisms that throw spectrum rainbows throughout the room. Comes fitted with heavy-duty copper-wrapped hanging loops and chain for easy window display.
Craftsmanship & Technique
Handcrafted using the Tiffany copper foil technique. Each wing segment is hand-cut, ground, foiled with copper tape, and soldered with smooth bead lines. Beveled prism border channels refract ambient natural sunlight.
